Resynchronizing mirror relationships
You can reestablish a mirror relationship that was broken earlier. You can perform a resynchronization operation to recover from a disaster that disabled the source volume.
About this task 
•
When you perform a resynchronization operation, the contents on the mirror destination are overwritten by the contents on the source. The resynchronization operation can cause loss of newer data written to the destination volume after the base Snapshot copy was created.

Resynchronization operation is enabled only when a mirror relationship is broken and is not based on the last transfer error. However, if the last transfer error suggests a resynchronization operation, you can break the mirror relationship and then perform the resynchronization operation.
Steps 
1.
From the home page, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
Expand the Storage Virtual Machines hierarchy in the left navigation pane.
3.
In the navigation pane, select the Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) that contains the destination volume and click Protection.
4.
Select the mirror relationship that you want to resynchronize.
5.
Click Operations > Resync.
6.
Select the confirmation check box and click Resync.
